Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas made his sounding debut with Alludu Seenu and has two movies above 30Crore share worldwide. Though he dint taste proper hit until Rakshasudu, commercially he was a crowd pulling star. Except for Sita all his other movies fared a bit decent atleast, to manage shares in double digit Crores. So with Rakshasudu his long wait for a hit has come to an end.
On the other hand, Vijay Devarakonda who rose to fame with movies like Pellichoopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindham almost share same range of market as Bellamkonda Srinivas. Except for Geetha Govindham, Devarakonda Vijay doesn’t have a single movie above 25 Crore share, his second highest is Arjun Reddy around 25 Crore. All his other hit movies, fared below 20 Crores.
Vijay Devarakonda’s latest release Dear Comrade turned out to be an disaster at the box office, given the high costs involved movie had to end this way. Losses of Dear comrade was purely because of the overrated costs kept on Vijay Devarakonda. If not for Geetha Govindham, Vijay Devarakonda still lags behind Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas.
Srinivas’s recent release Rakshasudu is turning out to be a super hit at blockbuster. Coming from the slump, Srinivas has posted decent box office numbers equal to of Most Happening star Vijay Devarakonda’s Dear Comrade in day 2 and Day 3 except for Day 1. End of the day, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is just one hit away to overtake Vijay Devarakonda in all the means.
