Bigg Boss 3 Launches in Telugu
The Telugu version of controversial reality show Bigg Boss is all set to launch its third season. Nagarjuna Akkineni will be hosting the show which is produced by Star Maa. He has already hosted shows like Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu and the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Himaja is a well-known side artist in Telugu films and has a decent fan following on social media. She is quite active on controversies and often gets trolled by netizens.
Host Nagarjuna Akkineni
The Telugu version of Bigg Boss was mired in controversies before it went on air. From violations of women’s modesty to seeking commitment (another euphemism for the casting couch) and implausible conditions to stay in the house, there was no shortage of drama ahead of its premiere.
Nevertheless, the show made a grand entry on July 21 with 15 contestants — from actors to YouTubers — locking horns inside the Bigg Boss house. These include Hema, Hemavati, 'Teenmaar' Savitri, Ravi Kishan, Hamida, RJ Chaitu, Sarayu, Vishwa Devi and Ali Reza.
The contestants are competing for a whopping Rs 50 lakh prize money. Interestingly, the winner will have the right to star in a film with Nagarjuna Akkineni. However, the actor hasn’t given any indication whether he’ll use this privilege or not.
Contestants
The contestants are divided into two groups. One group consists of those who are very strong at playing the tasks and taking a stand in controversies and the other consists of those who are good entertainers. Ali Reza and Sreemukhi are among the strongest contestants this time. They enjoy a ready-made craze and are expected to win the show.
Film director Baba Bhaskar, Himaja Reddy, Rohini Noni, Mahesh Vitta, Varun Sandesh and Hema are also good contestants in this season. But some of them are getting trolled by people because of their behavior in the house.
Bigg Boss is known to surprise viewers with its unpredictable twists and turns. It promises to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions, drama, and entertainment that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. You can vote for your favorite contestants through Hotstar App or by giving a missed call. You can also watch the show online on Star Maa.
Eliminations
After the seventh week of Bigg Boss Telugu, one contestant has been evicted. The show has now entered its ninth week and host Nagarjuna Akkineni teased that there would be double eliminations this weekend.
The finalists of this season are Varun Sandesh, Baba Bhaskar, Sreemukhi, and Ali Reza. The competition between the four is fierce as they fight for the top prize. The audience can vote online by using Disney+ Hotstar or by giving a missed call to their favorite contestants.
Film director Baba Bhaskar has been battling to save himself from being evicted. He has been in the nomination list for several weeks and is getting some sympathy from audiences. But his controversies with other housemates have killed this sympathy. He has also been accused of bullying other house members. Hence, he has been put in the danger zone this week. The other nominees are Jaffar Babu, Vithika Sheru, and Rahul Sipligunj.
Finale
VJ Sunny, Manas, Sreerama Chandra, and Siri Hanmanth are the finalists for the Bigg Boss Telugu season 5. These contestants will compete for the winner’s trophy. This season also features some renowned actors as celebrity guests.
The contestants are engaged in various tasks and fought over the petty things. The controversies were also raised as some of the contestants accused each other for lying and cheating. However, the finalists managed to win the challenge and saved themselves from nominations.
The contestants have to participate in a physical task and the one who wins will get the ticket to the finale. The inmates will be required to put their hands on a wall to win the task. The first person who gets his hands on the wall will be safe from nominations. In the previous episode, Geetu called Revanth a loser saying that he is not sportive enough. The LIVE audience disagreed with her and the contestants will receive feedback from the LIVE audiences in tonight’s episode.
