Nishabdam is the first major Telugu cinema all set for direct Digital Release and also it becomes the first Telugu cinema to undergo censor amidst lockdown. Nishabdam underwent censor formalities today and is certified with U/A.
The Thriller, Nishabdam is directed by Hemant Madhukar. This movie sees Anushka in the lead roles. Madhavan, Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey, and Srinivas Avasarala were roped in for few important roles in this movie. This movie is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. The Tamil version of the film was named as Silence.
The famous Telugu film writer Kona Venkat is associated with this project. This thriller has been produced by Kona Venkat in partnership with TG Viswa Prasad. Gopi Sundar has scored the soundtrack for this Anushka Shetty starrer film. Initially, the film was supposed to be released on 31st January 2020. But due to the delay in the shooting, the film was postponed to 2nd April. And then came coronavirus, due to which the film was postponed indefinitely.
With indefinite lockdown, makers of Anushka Starrer Nishabdam have completed censor formalities and decided for direct Digital Release. However, the exact platform and date isn’t known as of now. Nishabdam will surely be a great watch for the South Indian film lovers.
