In the 2nd ODI against west Indies at Vishakapatnam, Indian openers Rohit sharma and KL Rahul piled up runs for Team India with tons.
After losing the first ODI to west Indies by a thin margin, Indian Batting department bounced back good in 2nd ODI. Openers Rohit Sharma and Rahul added 227 runs for the first wicket. Which becomes the third highest opening partnership for Team India in ODIs. Both Sharma and Rahul managed to score tons. While Rahul departed for 105, Rohit Sharma anchored the innings and scored 159.
Virat Kohli was a disappointment, as the captian walked out for golden duck. Cameos from Shreya Iyer and Rishab Pant helped team India to seat a Himalayan target of 387 to west Indies. Shreyas Iyer scored his 6th ODI fifty today.
On the part of West Indies bowling, today was a off day. Except for Jason Holder all other bowlers were too costly with economy rate. Cottrell managed to pick two wickets.
