After a dull start in first match with losing so close to West Indies, Team India bounced back in the second Match and went on win the series by winning the third ODI also.
Thanks to Rohit Sharma’s 159 in previous match, which made the third ODI the series decider. In a interesting contest today, after winning the toss, Team India elected to bowl first.
After a fantastic start, Team India lost its control with ball in the last 10 overs and windies went on to score 315 runs for the lose of 5 wickets.
With a target of 300+, certainly burden was on the Indian Batmen. However, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul with their century plus stand made the proceedings easy for India. Captian of Team India and best player of the format, Virat Kohli stabilized the innings in the middle order with his brilliant knock of 85 Inspite of Batmans at other end kept walking away for single digit scores.
Then came the match winning partnership of Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja. After the departure of Virat Kohli, Sharadul Thakur walked in and with his terrific six and couple of boundaries made the victory comfortable for Team India with 9 balls to spare.
