India to be under complete lockdown for next 21 days

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India will be under lockdown for the next 21 days due to Coronavirus. Addressing the citizens of the nation, the prime minister has clearly explained the critical situation we are facing. He also urged the people to coordinate with the government, so we can cross these tough times together.


Going into the details, Narendra Modi has addressed the country today at 8 PM. The major agenda of the addressing was to announce that India will be under lockdown for the next 21 days. And on 15th April, the conditions will be reviewed again and the decision will be made on what to do further. During the addressing, Modi has urged the people to take the issue seriously and follow social distancing. The Prime Minister has also explained the kind of critical situation we are in and pleaded the public to cooperate with him. Modi also told us that we need to break this chain of coronavirus spread.

Further, the Prime Minister announced that an amount of 15,000 Crore INR will be released for the medical facilities to battle the coronavirus. In addition to this, Prime Minister has demonstrated that Corona means “Koyi Road par Na Aana”, using a placard. Which means no one must come on to the roads. The Prime Minister once again remembered the people that if we don’t follow 21 days of lockdown seriously, we will only have sadness for the next 21 years. Modi also said that this lockdown will cost us a fortune financially but nothing is more valuable than the lives of our citizens.
