Finally Coronavirus cases reduced in Andhra Pradesh

After a week of a lot of tension, it looks like finally Coronavirus cases are reduced in Andhra Pradesh. With only one new case being reported today until now, it seems like the lockdown has clearly worked very well.

From the past few days, the exponential growth in coronavirus cases in India has left Central and state governments sleepless. It is already very clear that more than 80% of the cases that are being reported are only alone from the Nizamuddin incident in Delhi. So the governments have put in a lot of effort to trace out all the members who have attended the event, and also their contacts. This was huge trouble for the government to trace, catch hold of them and move them to quarantine.

Andhra Pradesh government too identified that 711 people have attended the event. The officials have successfully traced out mostly everyone and moved them to quarantine, along with their contacts. The government has worked well to see that there is no community transmission. And now the result is showing up. Finally, coronavirus cases are reduced in Andhra Pradesh. Today till now, only 1 new case was reported in the state. This shows how effective the lockdown decision of Modi was.

On the other hand, at the national level, the COVID-19 is still ringing the alarm bells. The cases have gone past 4000 and growing exponentially each day. Maharastra has become the epicenter for the pandemic with more than 750 cases. The officials are saying that the next two weeks are very crucial for the country.
