Court Notice to YSRCP government to remove paints

Court served notice to Andhra Pradesh government in YSRCP paints issue

On Friday, high court has summoned notice to YSRCP led Andhra Pradesh Government to remove the paints from Government buildings by 28th May. In this issue, chief secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj and EC have been summoned with the notice. If the Court order isn’t followed, strict action will be taken on the respective officials, said High court. Court has also cancelled the GO issued by YSRCP Government with 4th colour. Court has strictly ordered the YSRCP Government to remove the party related paints from all the Government buildings.

The paints issue is a well known national issue. Ys Jagan led YSRCP government painted all the Grama Panchayat buildings to its party colour at a expenditure of Rs 1600 crores. Owing to the local body elections, court ordered the YSRCP Government to repaint all Government buildings to actual colours.

But, YSRCP neglected the high court judgement and appealed for the same in Supreme court. Even in the supreme Court, YSRCP received similar response. Over ruling both the Judgements, YSRCP dared to go forward with fourth colour. But now, as a response to the public petition the court has once again summoned the notice to the YSRCP Government and it’s officials to remove paints immediately.
