27000 Coronavirus test samples missing in Prakasam District

A alleged report is doing rounds in social media that around 27000 Coronavirus test samples have gone missing in the Prakasam District. It is said that the collected samples were left without labelling the serial numbers. Also, few samples had wrong identification numbers. Altogether, which has made the samples useless for testing. The lack of clear details about the sample has made the whole 27,000 samples useless.

With this incident, Prakasam District collector Pola Bhaskar has been left in serious mess. It is reported that Pola Bhaskar has called the corresponding front line officials for a meet. Bhaskar is said to be very furious about the incident whatever has happened. He has strongly warned the Frontline workers for being such lethargic towards the samples.

Another mess ahead of Prakasam District collector Pola Bhaskar is, among the 27,000 missing Coronavirus samples, over 15,000 samples are said to be from private labs. The samples collected from Private labs would be at the average cost of Rs 3000. The whole incident has turned a big question mark that how will the health officials of Andhra Pradesh would deal this. It has to be seen if free testing would be provided for the respective patients whose sample was missed.
