Recent buzz suggests that Ram Pothineni starrer movie RED might have a direct digital release. Ram himself has initially clarified that the movie unit has no thoughts of a digital release. But with the pandemic showing no sign of slowing down, the makers are reportedly in a dilemma on which way to go.
We have already seen that filmmakers are now slowly moving towards the digital space. The coronavirus pandemic has left the producers with no way but to release their films directly on an OTT platform. Now it seems to be the same case with RED. The makers of Ram starrer movie RED are reportedly in the thoughts of going for a direct digital release.
It is already known that Ram is working with director Tirumala Kishore for the movie RED. This movie is initially scheduled to be released on 9th April 2020. But due to the pandemic, the makers have postponed the film indefinitely. During the initial days of the pandemic, the movie unit has made it clear that they have no thoughts of going with a digital release. But with the coronavirus cases in India increasing, the makers have reportedly fallen in a dilemma. We have to wait and see what their final call will be.
